Our Vision

Our vision is to continue a vibrant festival in Greensboro that sits as a cornerstone of cultural celebration, amplifying Black voices and experiences. Central to this vision is a food truck festival designed to support Black entrepreneurs who face systemic barriers and unfair advantages in accessing the resources needed to own and sustain brick-and-mortar establishments. By providing a high-visibility platform for food and non-food vendors to showcase their talent and creativity, we aim to give them a fighting chance to overcome these obstacles. Through this initiative, we strive to empower local businesses, foster economic equity, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for Black culture while building a lasting tradition that uplifts and celebrates Black lives year after year.
