Junior Business Builders - Term 4 After School Program
Event description
Have you ever had an idea for a business? Did you ever think you might be able to actually bring this idea to life? Our Junior Business Builders after school program is designed to show young people how they can build and launch their own small business ready to launch at the end of the term.
As part of our Junior Business Builders after school program, we will be working with students to follow their interests and grow their ideas into a tangible product or service, giving them a way to bring their ideas to life, whilst also making money doing so.
Throughout the program, students will first look at some of their favourite brands to learn about how these businesses make money and how they built their brands, before then using their newfound knowledge to build their own business around a topic that they are passionate about.
In our Junior Business Builders program, students learn what it takes to design, create, and build their own business. Our young people work with an expert team of facilitators and will be challenged to prototype their own product or service. They will take the time to understand the business basics before then building their own brand ready to launch at the end of the term.

Who Is This Program For?
This program is open for year 3-5 students at Kelvin Grove State College.
When Does The Program Run?
The program will commence in week three (20th October) and run until week nine (1st December). This program will run from 3:10-4:20 pm every Tuesday Afternoon.
Where Will The Program Be Held?
The program will be held in the Middle Senior Library Annex.
What Do Students Need To Bring?
We ask that students bring a device if they have one. All other equipment will be provided.
Do Students Need Any Prior Experience?
Students don't need any prior experience for this program. We will be able to cater to different skill levels and interest areas. We just ask that students are excited and willing to participate.
