Feathered Friends Adventure: A Bird Walk for Young Explorers

Join us for a delightful journey into the world of birds with the Elizabeth River Project! Our educators are excited to guide children aged 5-12 on a 1-mile bird walk that’s not only educational but also packed with fun!

Event Highlights:

Bird Identification: Learn to spot and name birds using observation skills and by tuning into their unique songs.
Anatomy Exploration: Discover the fascinating world of bird wings, feathers, and beaks.
Interactive Games: Engage in playful activities designed to teach how different beak shapes affect the way birds eat.
Nature Connection: Foster a love for wildlife and the environment in a hands-on learning experience.

This event is perfect for budding ornithologists and young nature enthusiasts eager to learn more about our feathered friends. Best of all, it’s FREE!

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to flap your wings and dive into the world of birds. Spaces are limited, so be sure to register your little explorers today.

Event is free but donations are appreciated to help support nature education programming here at the Elizabeth River Project.
