The Royal Hobart Regatta annual Junior Pageant is a celebration of up and coming creativity and artistic flair exhibited by the youth of our community. Conducted in harmony with the annual Ambassador Program and sees young entrants present their 'Best Summer Outfit' on the main stage of the 185th anniversary Regatta.

Entry Requirements:
  • Entrants must complete this online entry form including payment or/ register on the day in person between 12:00pm and 1:30pm
  • Entry is open to all genders and/ or non binary pronouns
  • Entries must include:
    • Name of the entrant
    • Age of the entrant
    • The age group of entry
    • Address, Phone and email number of the parent or guardian
  • Entry is open to all genders and/ or non binary pronouns in the following categories:
    • Ages 5 to 7
    • Ages 8 to 10
    • Ages 11 to 14
    • Ages 15 to 17
Judging
  • Judges will consider the originality of the entrant's outfit and personal style
  • While entrants will not be expected to talk while on stage, older entrants may be asked a question by the MC on the day; commentary will not part of the judging criteria
  • One winner will be announced in each age group as listed above
  • There will be no 'runner-ups'
  • Winners will receive a sash and prize
  • All entrants will receive a participation bag
  • The judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into

The registration desk closes.

02:00pm
Judging of the Junior Pageant formally commences

03:00pm
Formal prizes and places for all categories will be announced

Refund policy

Refunds will be issued provided adequate notice is provided to the Organiser up until the day prior to the event. If the event is cancelled as a result of inclement weather, all registered participants will receive a refund.
