Drawing their material and inspiration from everyday life - the streets, the home and the land. Junkyard Beats find treasure and music in other people’s trash and in the everyday objects around them. In their hands, ordinary household items are transformed into extraordinary body moving musical instruments; unwanted junk comes alive in exciting and surprising ways.

Children and adults alike will be taken on a creative journey of discovery, exploring the connection between creative recycling, music and teamwork. Junkyard Beats is an imaginative rhythm group combining drumming, dance, theatre and comedy to create a unique, interactive and captivating experience.
