This cinematic journey amplifies the often-overlooked voices of rural communities and sheds light on mental health struggles. It’s more than a movie: it’s a dedicated movement creating awareness, dismantling stigmas and impacting the well-being of rural Australia. Just A Farmer breaks new ground, fostering understanding and assuring individuals they don’t face darkness alone.

The film celebrates the resilience of farmers’ wives and community support amidst heartbreak, set against the captivating backdrop of rural Victoria. Just a Farmer is a moving film that tells the story of farmers’ challenges, focusing on the importance of mental health in rural communities. It portrays the reality of grief, loss, and resilience, making it a film that resonates deeply with audiences.

Free entertainment, refreshments and popcorn will be available from 5.30pm with the screening commencing at 7pm. Following the movie, a Q & A panel of local identities will be conducted. Donations accepted on the night.
