You’ve finally got help in your business.

A VA. A marketer. An associate coach. A “contractor” you pay every month.

But…

Did you know you might need to pay super on your VA in the Philippines?

Did you know that paying someone as a contractor doesn’t automatically make them one?

Did you know that “they invoice me” is not the legal test?

Most small business owners don’t get this wrong because they’re careless — they get it wrong because no one ever explains it in a way that connects to real life.

And the cost of getting it wrong?

Unexpected tax bills.

Compliance mess.

Stress you absolutely did not sign up for when you decided to grow.

This masterclass is about giving you confidence — not fear — so you can grow your team without guessing.

The Details

Join us Friday 26 February at 2pm AEDT for a live, practical masterclass that translates “contractor vs employee” (and yes, sham contracting) into plain English decisions you can actually make.

We’ll walk through the real scenarios small businesses trip over every day — overseas VAs, associate roles, subcontractors who look a bit too embedded — and show you what matters, what doesn’t, and where the real risk sits.

No legal jargon.

No scare tactics.

Just clarity, context, and a framework you can use again and again as your business grows.

Your Panel

Shaye Thyer — Consulting CFO for service-based founders, grounding legal rules in real business decisions and growth strategy.

How to engage help properly before you scale
Confidence to grow your team without second-guessing or late-night Googling
