Event description

🌿 Join AGIN to explore some of Melbourne’s newest green infrastructure projects.

This event will take you to three key locations around Federation Square, where industry experts and researchers will share valuable insights into how these spaces are shaping the future of urban Melbourne.

What You’ll Discover:

🌱 Atrium greening at Flinders Gate, a collaborative project by Fytogreen and Tensile. You will hear from Mitch Clouten on the secrets to selecting, installing, and maintaining green solutions, plus the lessons learnt along the way.

🌱 A deep dive into the research behind the Test Garden for Laak Boorndap with the Burnley team (University of Melbourne). Join Associate Professor Claire Farrell and Dean Schrieke as they reveal the science behind this urban garden, created for the Melbourne Arts Precinct.

🌱 An exclusive look at the Greenline Hub green roof, one of Melbourne’s latest rooftop projects. Led by Michael Casey, discover the technical process behind this new green roof, installed by Evergreen Infrastructure.

After the site visits, continue the conversation over drinks, generously provided by Cloud Grow and Evergreen Infrastructure, in support of greener, more liveable cities.

Tickets are limited, but AGIN members have a secured spot. For any questions, please contact member@agin.org.au.

Whether you’re an industry professional, researcher, or simply interested in greener cities, this is a great chance to see innovative projects in action, hear from experts, and meet like-minded people working to make Melbourne more sustainable.
