Justin Robinson - Guiding the Journey: Supporting Your Teen to Thrive Through Senior School
Description
Few educators have had a greater influence on the wellbeing and positive education movement than Justin Robinson. As the former Director of the Positive Education Enhanced Curriculum at Geelong Grammar School and now co-founder of The Wellbeing Distillery, Justin has worked with schools, educators and families around the world to help young people thrive.
Christ Church Grammar School is pleased to welcome Justin for a parent and community presentation, Guiding the Journey: Supporting Your Teen to Thrive Through Senior School.
The senior school years can bring significant pressure and uncertainty for both students and parents. Drawing on the latest wellbeing science and decades of experience working with schools and families, Justin will explore practical ways parents can support their teenager to navigate the challenges of adolescence with confidence, balance and purpose.
Parents will gain valuable insights into maintaining strong connections with their child, responding effectively to stress and pressure, and creating the conditions for young people to flourish both during school and beyond.
This presentation forms part of Christ Church's ongoing commitment to supporting the wellbeing, character development and academic success of our students through strong partnerships between school and home.
Parents of boys in Years 7 to 12 are warmly encouraged to attend. While the presentation will be especially valuable for current Year 11 and 12 families navigating the opportunities and challenges of senior school, the insights and strategies shared will be relevant to all parents supporting their sons through adolescence and beyond.
