Discover the Joy of Acting: JUTE Actors Studio (JAS) Juniors School Holiday Introductory Workshop

JUTE Theatre Company is thrilled to announce the upcoming JUTE Actors Studio (JAS) Juniors School Holiday Workshop, a unique opportunity for young and emerging actors aged 9-12 to experience the magic of theatre. Held at the Bulmba-ja Arts Centre during the June/July school holidays, this introductory workshop is designed to ignite a passion for performance and develop acting skills.

The JAS Juniors workshop will be a four-hour immersive experience, facilitated by professional actor and seasoned workshop leader, Elizabeth Slattery. The young emerging actors will engage in a variety of activities including improvisation, focus and imagination games, and script work for scenes. The workshop aims to create a professional yet fun and disciplined environment, fostering learning and collaboration among the young actors.

This workshop is open exclusively to new actors who have not previously enrolled in JUTE Actors Studio. With limited spots available, early booking is essential.

As an additional incentive, if participants choose to enrol in Term 3 and/or 4 of the JUTE Actors Studio, the $55 workshop fee will be deducted from the term fee of $275.
