Following the success of our inaugural event in 2025, the Jay Williams Legacy Fund Awards & Fundraiser returns for its second year on Saturday, November 28, 2026.
Join us for an evening of celebration, connection, music, performances, food, and purpose as we honour Jay Williams’ legacy and celebrate the young people carrying it forward.
Jay was a transformative educator, mentor, and advocate for Black youth in Toronto. His work was rooted in authenticity, resilience, leadership, service, and equity — values that continue to shape the work of the Jay Williams Legacy Fund.
The Jay Williams Legacy Awards recognize young people who have faced barriers, been overlooked or misunderstood, and continued to persist, grow, lead, and make an impact in their communities.
This year, we’re continuing the work. Your support helps us provide awards and bursaries that create opportunities for young people and invest in their futures.
