Kōrero! (A Wānanga about Inclusion, Diversity and Taking your Business to the next level of Innovation)
Event description
Spark Foundation and GCSN are proud to be partnering together to engage in a wānanga (panel discussion) about how we might engage more rangatahi Māori and Pasifika into the Technology & Engineering sectors here in Ōtautahi.
We know innovation requires diverse thinkers and doers. So how might we encourage diverse young people into careers in Tech and Engineering? We will seek to enlighten you as to why you should want Māori and Pacific peoples on your team and more importantly how they might add value to the mahi you do. Our expert panel will share some solutions, provocations, insight and practical recommendations about how you can prepare your workplace to be a workplace of choice for Māori and Pacific youth.
This event is part of Ōtautahi Learning Days, an Ako Ōtautahi Learning City Christchurch festival celebrating learning in its many forms, exploring Innovation in Equity, by connecting rich conversations, encouraging hands-on learning and focusing on future opportunities.
