Event description
E kore , e kore, e kore hiakai! There shall never ever be hunger for our people
Tēnā koutou, talofa lava, malo e lelei, nisa bula vinaka, kia orana, fakaalofa lahi atu, talofa ni, namaste and warm pacific greetings,
Kore Hiakai Zero Hunger Collective and the Kai Rawa Trust invite you to join us for a night of kai and kōrero to celebrate the first formal gathering of the Kore Hiakai Zero Hunger Collective. We will be in the midst of a two-day hui with manuhiri brought together from across the motu to grow together in whanaungatanga and further our collective journey towards a food secure Aotearoa. We encourage all who are interested in our kaupapa to come along and meet the Collective, be inspired by our speakers, and share kai with new friends.

Keith Smith, High Commissioner for Canada in New Zealand

Kai
Our event will feature food from Graze, who strive to make as little impact on our environment as possible by working directly with local fishermen who either spear catch, hand dive, or single line catch all the fish, paua, and crayfish on the menu. They choose to only use oysters and mussels that have been responsibly farmed because they see value in supporting those who are looking after our oceans for future generations. Rawe!
Nau mai haere mai, see you there!
