Country Connection
Join us for an incredible day of learning and connecting to the land! This Youth Week, we’re bringing you a full day of cultural experiences, including a walk and swim through the country, didgeridoo lessons, cultural dances, weaving, and a yarn with an Elder. You'll have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of country and culture, with plenty of hands-on activities to enjoy along the way.
Failure to send through consent form first removes you from the register. Please follow step-by-step below.
Plus, there will be live art and a special focus on boys and men's business as we delve into the important connection to country. Whether you're looking to connect with the land, your heritage, or your community, this event has something for everyone. Lunch provided.
Eligibility:
This event is open to First Nations teenagers between the ages of 12 to 18 years old who live on the Gold Coast.
