EMBRACE KAMBARANG SEASON,YIN YOGA & SOUND IMMERSION.
Kaya wanjoo babin! (Hello and welcome friends)
Join us celebrating Kambarang in style!
It’s the ‘second spring’ of the Noongar six seasons. Fresh from our packed yin yoga sound immersion, spilling out onto the surrounding grass at Blossom Festival, we are inspired to be teaming up again. We’ll be serving you a delicious platter of nurturing yin yoga, magical Noongar language, native elixirs, vegan treats and enchanting music. Be immersed, relaxed and rejuvenated in a beautiful, blissful, bounty of benedictions!
Paige, Chiara, Bren and Reubens love of First Nations culture, yoga and music has guided them to create this all-inclusive, unique presentation and exploration of arts and spirituality.
‘Djiba-djobaliny’ (swimming) through the musical scapes performed by Reuben from Down Dingo Yoga.
Guided by the ‘Kwobadak’ (beautiful) and hypnotic voice of Chiara of Shanti Vibe Yoga Healing.
Be mesmerized by Brens ‘malka’ (magic) hand pan drum.
You will ‘djoorap koort’ (love) the native plants shrine and teas curated and combined by Paige.
Kambarang in Noongar tradition represents the Second Spring “Season of Birth”, it’s the time of the year where we see an abundance of blooming flowers and colors.
In both Noongar culture and Traditional Chinese medicine from which Yin Yoga is originated, we see an in-depth connection of nature which is aligned with the natural rhythms and cycles of the environment.
This commences with a gentle Guided Meditation to connect with the vibrant energy of new beginnings associated with the Chinese Wood Element and Noongar Season Kambarang/Spring.
As the Yin Yoga practice unfolds, gentle postures are held to activate the Wood Element, focusing on the Liver and Gallbladder Meridians, promoting relaxation, flexibility, and renewal whilst harmonizing the flow of life force energy throughout the body.
Through this holistic fusion of practices, participants are invited to align with the spirit of Spring, embracing growth, healing, and rejuvenation.
We have a very special First Nations guest:
Daniel Garlett, Whadjuk Ballardong Noongar man introducing this incredible event with a special welcome to country and Noongar discussion about Kambarang the second Spring season!
Whadjuk Ballardong Yued Noongar and jaru and Yamatji man with family connections throughout WA NT.
