As part of Oberon Outdoor Festival, Oberon Council will be hosting the Kanangra Boyd NP Discovery Ranger Walk.

It is a family friendly one day event for walkers over 10 years of age, aimed at encouraging everyone to get outdoors and enjoy our region, keeping fit and having fun.

The event will start and finish at the Kanangra Walls parking area.

Join NPWS Discovery Ranger Lester Ives to explore the unique Kalang Falls area of Kanangra Boyd National Park.

There are 2 guided walks to choose from - Our morning walk will be a longer 2-hour walk taking in the Kalang Falls, Dance Floor Cave and Kanangra Tops. Afternoon walk will be a shorter, less arduous one hour walk which takes in the Kalang Falls.

During the walks we will learn about the cultural and local history of the area, the geology and why it is so unique, as well as the flora and fauna found here.

What to bring – Good walking shoes, min 1 litre of water, a rain jacket, sunscreen & hat, camera.

Morning Walk to the Dancefloor Cave $30pp. 8:30am - 12pm

Afternoon Walk to the Lookouts and Kalang Falls $20pp. 1pm - 3pm

Ticket holders will be encouraged to BYO picnic Lunch. There will be bottled water available for all.
