Kangaroo Island Wildlife Carnival 2023

The Kangaroo Island Wildlife Carnival is the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Network’s biennial awareness raiser. Our Carnival is a celebration of our community's environment, wildlife & our community's role as its guardians. We hope you will join us for a joyful evening & we look forward to sharing all we have in store for this year's Carnival.

This year's event is held in the Spring at the beautiful Cygnet River on the Sunday of the October long weekend. Each event focuses on a threatened species to raise awareness of their plight and to give hope for possible solutions to the challenges they face. This year’s Carnival will highlight the Australian Sea Lion.

There will be interesting guest speakers, live music by national & local artists, delicious local food & wine, live interactive art installations, conservation stalls, silent auction & with loads of activities for the whole family.
