Angie is passionate about local produce and cooking for the community, and for this class, she will share all her knowledge about wholesome food with us!

Let the fun begin! We will start our Journey to the Kangaroo Valley. Enjoy the ride while admiring the incredible views on our panoramic coach. We will have a comfort stop at Marulan, a beautiful town full of historic buildings located in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. Here you can enjoy a morning tea at your own expense.
(Did you know Marulan is the only town in the world situated right on the 150° meridian, a place where the sun rises at 6am and sets at 6pm precisely every equinox? How interesting!)

We will arrive at Wildwood Estate at approximately 11:15 am. This location will take your breath away! Surrounded by nature and tranquillity, we will learn how to cook a Sri Lankan-style fish curry with rice using local and ethically sourced ingredients (There will be a vegetarian option as well for any necessary dietaries).

The class will be followed by a group lunch to socialise and enjoy our delicious creations!

After this yummy experience, we will depart to the Kangaroo Valley where we will have some free time to explore, and why not- to do some shopping therapy!

At 3:00 pm, we will head to the magnificent Fitzroy falls. A must see when visiting the Kangaroo Valley. Here we can do a 3 minute level walk to witness one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Australia. This is for sure a photo opportunity moment!

At 4:00 pm, we will make our way back home with a comfort spot at Marulan, where you can have some afternoon tea at your own expense. Unwind and rest on our comfortable coach after an unforgettable experience! The approximate time of arrival in Canberra will be 6:45 pm.
