Kanikani - Kids Disco

Get ready to dance!
To celebrate Māori Language Week, Hakatere Marae is hosting a FREE Kanikani - Kids Disco with all the tunes in te reo Māori.
Bring your best moves, your friends, and your energy – it’s going to be a night full of music, fun, and kanikani! There will be games too and prizes!
Children are encouraged to bring their water bottle full of water. No fizzy drinks at the event. Glow items and snacks will be on sale.
The kanikani is for children aged 5- 12 years (primary / intermediate school age), beginning at 6pm and finishing at 8pm, Friday September 19th. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to stay and enjoy the night too.
Tickets are limited so get yours today if your whānau is keen to come. If the event is sold out, add your name to the waitlist. Things often come up causing people to cancel closer to the time, which means you could get in).
