3D Printing and Vibe Coding for ages 10+
3:30pm – 4:30pm, | 18 May in Paraparaumu Library Maker Space
For young people, technology isn’t just something to learn – it’s something to create with.
This hands-on session introduces rangatahi aged 10+ to the tools shaping the future, in a way that is practical, creative and accessible.
Participants will explore how ideas can become real through 3D printing and AI-assisted “vibe coding”, using the tools available in the Maker Space.
Participants will:
Learn how 3D printers build objects layer by layer
See real examples created in the Maker Space
Use AI tools to help bring their ideas to life
This is a welcoming session for curious young people - whether they enjoy building, designing, coding, or just want to see what’s possible.
Please bring: a Chromebook or iPad. If needed, we can help organise access.
Parents and caregivers are required to give permission and are welcome to stay. Bookings are essential.
