AI is changing far more than how software is built. It is reshaping what customers value, how products are packaged and, critically, what SaaS businesses can charge.

Join KāpitiTech for an interactive evening with Serge van Dam, a highly experienced investor, director and adviser to globally focused Kiwi SaaS and AI companies.

Serge has spent decades working across technology, fintech and B2B software, helping New Zealand companies develop growth strategies and take their products to international markets. His experience spans investment, governance, enterprise sales, marketing, distribution and the practical realities of scaling a software business.

During this candid and interactive session, Serge will share his thoughts on:

What AI means for the future of Kiwi SaaS
How AI is changing customer expectations and competitive advantage
Pricing and packaging SaaS and AI products in a rapidly shifting market
The opportunities and challenges facing founders as AI reshapes the sector

Serge will invite questions, challenge assumptions and draw on his extensive experience working alongside Kiwi technology companies.

Whether you are building a SaaS business, developing an AI-enabled product, considering your pricing model or simply interested in where the technology sector is heading, this is a session not to be missed.

Date: Wednesday 9 September 2026
