A spearhead within Ngambri and Ngunnawal Country is a favourite tastemaker to the community. KARANI, born in Nairobi Kenya, cuts up SHUBZ with his forward-thinking selections merging a whole range of black dance music from 3step, gqom, jersey, jungle and many more. Music has underpinned his upbringing and has been the constant. From playing drums and keys in his childhood to digging the web to find music that resonates with him. KARANI is part of a broader community, KINAH, which champions the POC community at every step — by pushing the boundaries, allowing artists to freely explore and express themselves.

TSOTSI’s dancefloor sixth-sense is tangible. He is inspired by Africa, its diverse refractions, dancing, and our complex histories. A versatile selector and champion of underground music, his soul-driven bag spans sounds like Detroit techno, footwork, house, kwaito and lovers rock. He has supported the likes of Soichi Tereda, DJ Nigga Fox, DJ Plead, Elle Shimada and Setwun.
