Kariné Poghosyan CD Release Concert

Pianist Kariné Poghosyan has performed in noted venues including Musikverein in Vienna, and released two important recordings with works by Khachaturian on Naxos, and Rachmaninoff & Stravinsky on Centaur Records. During the pandemic, Ms. Poghosyan launched and performed 100 free weekly virtual concerts, garnering a loyal world-wide following and acclaim from the press.

On March 30th, 2023, Ms. Poghosyan returns to Pianoforte Chicago in a special CD release concert with the program of her new “Folk Themes” recording on Navona Records. The program will include both works by lesser-performed masters such as Komitas Vardapet and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, as well as renown piano works by Edvard Grieg and Franz Liszt.

A CD signing will be held immediately following the concert.
