Kate Gale is an Australian author, speaker, and cancer advocate turning lived experience into apowerful platform for impact, connection and change.

Residing in Ballarat, Victoria, Kate had built the life she’d always envisioned—becoming a hairdresser, a wife, and a mother—but it was disrupted by a breast cancer diagnosis, launching her into a fight that would redefine not just who she was, and her future, but her purpose too.

Over 18 years, Kate has fought cancer from every angle—survivor, caregiver, and patient once again, following her most recent diagnosis with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. These experiences have not only shaped her resilience, but given her a rare and deeply human perspective that resonates with audiences navigating adversity of all kinds.

Today, Kate is building a growing presence as a motivational speaker, author, advocate, using her voice to drive conversations around resilience, mental strength and the reality of life after diagnosis. Her upcoming memoir, Angry. Grateful. Still Alive., is the foundation of a broader mission to create honest, relatable and empowering content that supports cancer patients, families, and survivors.

Looking ahead, Kate is expanding her work through speaking engagements, partnerships with health and community organisations, and fundraising initiatives aimed at improving support systems for those affected by cancer.
