Hey everyone, Kate here, I am so excited to invite you along to an afternoon of music in the Tallebudgera Valley. I will be joined by some very special guests to bring to you an intimate and participatory experience which will begin with an energising, connected and refreshing "voice jam" collaboration with my beautiful soul sister Julie Hayes followed by a BIG SUNSET PICNIC on the grass and closing with a concert featuring special guests.

Event outline:

To begin, Kate & Jules will welcome & guide you in a collective voice jam, exploring sound and song to traverse the deeper waters and dance with lightness in the authenticity of our souls expression through sound and song. This is a special collaboration which sees two dear friends co-creating an experience inspired by their passion for uniting voices in sound and song together.

Next, we will eat a (BYO, low to zero waste) BIG SUNSET PICNIC dinner together on the grass in the shade by the hall.

After dinner, Kate & and special guests will culminate the experience through sharing songs & stories in a stripped back set where we will invite you to sing along ... to drop into the deeper places ... to smile inside ... to dance ... to let it all go.

Event Timeline:

4-4:30pm Arrive and settle

4:30-5:45pm Drop in + Collective voice jam with Kate & Jules (everyone participates)

5:45-6:45pm Picnic together

6:45-8:30pm Kate & special guests in concert (featuring Julie Hayes, Sarah Shah, Neil Macleod, Matty Wilson + others)

Kate’s heart’s passion lies in creating musical journeys to uplift and inspire, and to remind us that we rise together in hope for a better world. An experienced musician and stage performer, Kate has been playing to soulful audiences since 2007, most recently in one of the Gold Coast’s favourite bands, Leopold’s treat.
