Event description

Girrakool Blues Festival & The Naughty Noodle Fun Haus season of “Blues at The Funhaus” continues with the Kate Lush band.

U.S. Blues Blast Magazine hailed her as the ‘Tsunami from Down Under” adding, “Like Dave Hole and Fiona Boyes before her, it won’t be long before Kate Lush becomes a household name among blues lovers in the U.S.”

Internationally acclaimed Kate Lush is taking off into a whole new stratosphere and she is stopping off on Central Coast NSW!

The Australian Blues Chain Award winner is in creative overdrive, firing out a #1 Album this & last year & rocking festival stages & venues around Australia.  Add to this an Honorable mention in U.S. 2017 Blues Blast awards,  European IBBA charts & a swag of songwriting awards, making her one of the outstanding vocalists on the world stage (Think Susan Tedeschi, Sara Bareilles with a dash of Aretha’s Soul & Bonnie Raitt’s harder rock edge)

She has awon Best Female & Best International in U.S. IAMA & SAW Awards in previous years. Described as singing “soul drenched blues”, her incredible soaring power & emotionally charged ballads make her one of the most outstanding vocalists on the world stage.

This is supper & show @ the Haus with Café Du Blueza taking over the kitchen – in a New Orleans inspired Gumbo & Jambalay Popup cafe offering 3 supper options:

1. Blacken fish with collard greens ,

2. Chicken Fricassee with Rice or marshed potatoe

3. Gumbo Zherbs -Vego blonde mixed vegetable stew of home cooked potatoes, turnips, cabbage and holy trinity (onion, green pepper, celery).
