Katherine Region - Local Buy Supplier Information Session
Event description
Councils within the Katherine Region will be hosting an information session for suppliers/contractors currently working with or interested in working with councils, to attend on Monday 1st November 2021 at 3pm in the Katherine Town Council Chambers.
During this session, councils will introduce the Local Buy initiative and service providers will be informed on how Local Buy will be implemented, how it will impact their works with Council, and be provided a demonstration on how to sign up as well as respond to any questions you may have.
This session will be hosted by Sheridan Rose from LGANT who will provide contractors with information, advice and guidance on behalf of Councils with regards to Local Buy and the procurement platform.
This session is aimed at suppliers who:
- are currently supplying to Local Councils in the Katherine and surrounding regions
- would like to register to become a prequalified supplier to councils in the Northern Territory
- Are currently Local Buy prequalified suppliers and have questions about the current arrangements
