Your song will be played for the music supervisor during the Fiesta and also emailed to them afterwards. The form above also asks for your permission to share your song a) during the event as a streamable link, and b) in the replays as a streamable link. You don't have to share your song, but please check the applicable boxes so we know your choice!

Katie's Briefs:

* New York City, 2003 – Two college-age guys are skateboarding in Central Park. They’ve been friends since childhood and have a conversation about where they see themselves in 5 years. It’s a special, heartfelt scene. The song plays under the dialogue then takes us out into end credits. The genre should be rock and fit within the NY rock scene of the early 2000s – think Yeah Yeah Yeahs (“Maps”), Interpol (“Obstacle 1”), and The Strokes (“Is This It”, “You Only Live Once”). It should have an emotional ‘punch’ and melody with a tone of nostalgia both lyrically and musically. Tempo-wise I am open as long as it creates this feeling described. Male or female vocals work.

* I’m looking for a song for a modern coming-of-age series where our male and female leads are hanging out on the beach late at night. They are in love and this is a peak moment of the show where they are at the height of their relationship. This scene is montage like, and we see random moments of them walking in the sand with their flashlights on, running through the water, cuddled up in a blanket. The song plays under the montage and the genre should be indie/dream pop, something in the vein of Suki Waterhouse (“Good Looking”, “Johanna”), Wild Nothing (“Paradise”), Lana Del Rey (“Cinnamon Girl”, “Radio”), Clairo (“Bags”). The feel and lyrics should give us a warm/butterflies feeling – similar to what the characters are feeling. Male or female vocals work.

* I’m in need of a song for the opening credits of a feature film that introduces our female lead and follows her as she reluctantly pulls up to her job at the local coffee shop. The film is a comedy and our lead is a self-deprecating 24-year-old who is just trying to keep it together. As a note, throughout the film we follow her struggles with dating, her late nights out partying, and her desire to land her first gig as a stand-up comedian. The song should be upbeat, driving, and fun and immediately give us the vibe of the film and our main lead. The lyrics should be playful as well. Some song references are Olivia Rodrigo’s “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” and Wet Leg’s “Chaise Longue”. Female vocals!
