We’re thrilled to announce that tickets are now available for our inaugural Melbourne Cup Spring Lunch & Fashion Show, happening on Tuesday, November 5th, at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas. This special event is proudly presented by John Madill Toyota, Laurent-Perrier, Gathered Wine, and Peppers Resort & Villas Noosa.

Celebrate Melbourne Cup Day in style! Don your finest attire with a "Splash of Blue" in support of Katie Rose Cottage Hospice, and enjoy an array of exciting activities including race sweeps, Fashions on the Field, and a fabulous fashion show — all while raising essential funds for Katie Rose Cottage Hospice, where every moment matters.

Your day will begin with a welcome drink and canapés, accompanied by live music. Indulge in a sumptuous two-course lunch with wine on the table, and then hit the dance floor to keep the festivities going. Relax and enjoy a Spring Carnival-themed fashion show featuring the latest styles from Noosa’s own Wacker Clothing, showcasing timeless and elegant pieces for men and women, perfect for any occasion. Additionally, be dazzled by the stunning eco-friendly bikinis and one-piece swimsuits from Matilda Cove, with the show hosted by Noosa’s own fashionista, Carlie Wacker of @wackerclothingcompany.

Katie Rose Cottage Hospice is a fully accredited not for profit 24/7 palliative care service for those in our community facing a terminal illness.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care by a team of medical professionals and caring volunteers, all at no cost*.

We believe that the end of life should be just as beautiful as the beginning. We provide a safe, welcoming space where guests and loved ones feel supported.

Nestled on 3 acres of lush tropical gardens in the Noosa Valley, the hospice is a tranquil, caring and supportive environment in a homelike setting.

Housing 3 private bedrooms, each guest has their own ensuite bathroom, some with a beautiful view over the manicured gardens or pool.
A private outdoor courtyard adjoins each room, providing a relaxing space for guests and family to relax and reflect.

All funds raised will to go towards covering the cost of providing compassionate, and high-quality End of Life Care to individuals living with life-limiting illness. The hospice is a patient-centred 24/7 facility that dedicated to providing holistic care in a tranquil home away from home, at NO COST, ensuring comfort and dignity for guests as they approach their end of life.

The hospice relies on fundraising and donations, as Queensland Health only provides around 20% of their annual 1.2 million clinical operational costs, leaving a huge shortfall.
