We are super pumped to have Ultra Endurance athlete and Barkley Marathon competitor Katie Wright in-store talking all things Barkley!

Katie is a La Sportiva ultra-endurance athlete who started running ultras by doing a lap of Wales in 2017. Shortly after finishing her 1000-mile run around Wales, she watched the Barkley marathon documentary and decided it was the next big goal.

Ever since, she has been exploring mountains, learning what 'Vert' is and trying to find her way around a compass. Not to mention trying to figure out the puzzle of how actually to get a spot to run the Barkley.

After five years of training, she got to give it a go!

Fresh from competing in this year's UTMB, she'll chat about her training, kit, and events, including Berkley. So come prepped with all your Barkley and running-related questions - there will be time for plenty of Q&A!
