Kazami Ranki returns to Australia and New Zealand in 2025!
The head of the Kazami-Ryu school is returning to Australia and New Zealand teaching a variety of new tricks and forms to those interested in improving their Shibari. Miss Gen, head of the school in Oceania will travel with him as his Interpreter and teaching assistant, so you get both of their skills in one lesson!
Kazami-Ryu Munenawa (chest harness, box tie):
This class will teach the Kazami-Ryu Gote to those who wish to learn it new, or wish a refresher ahead of the weekend workshop.
Often described by some of the world's best Rope Models as being "the most comfortable Gote ever", the Kazami-Ryu Munenawa is a solid base for Kazami-Ryu suspension techniques. There are some significant di๏ฌerences to other styleโs Gote you may have learned. For those who already know this Gote, working through it with Kazami Ranki will assist to improve and finesse your tying of it. A low hands version is available for those unable to bring their hands up into the standard box tie position.
Requirements:ย
Students must have a good understanding of the risks and dangers involved in rope bondage, be partnered, and must also have their own equipment including rope, and a rope cutting implement.
Students must both (rope-giver and rope-receiver) be competent with rope communication, and basic chest harnesses.
Students must have their own safety equipment and at least 4 hanks of a suitable rope, eg Jute, Hemp, Posh, or bondage specific nylons (Cromaknotz, Knothead Nylon, Agreeable Agony, etc)
This class is not suitable for beginners.ย
