Join us for KC One Health Day on Vector Borne Illnesses and their impact on global health. Learn about the parasites, viruses, and bacteria that cause diseases like malaria, dengue, and Lyme disease, and the vectors that transmit them. Discover the complex set of demographic, environmental, and social factors that determine the distribution of these diseases and the challenges they pose for outbreak prevention and management.

One Health Day is an international event every fall. It highlights and celebrates the complex interrelationships between human, animal and environmental health — called One Health. 

Kansas City One Health Day is our local celebration. The annual event is a collaboration by K-StateBioNexus KC, the KU Edwards Campus and University of Kansas Medical Center.
