KIEWA CATCHMENT LANDCARE GROUPS (KCLG) ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND PRESENTATION FROM HOLBROOK LANDCARE NETWORK

KCLG is excited to welcome you all to celebrate our achievements over the 2023-24 financial year with a light dinner, followed by our AGM to elect our committee and group representatives. All our members and community are welcome to attend.

This short meeting will be followed by a presentation from Kylie Durant from Holbrook Landcare Network (HLN). HLN is one of our neighbouring Landcare networks located over the border in NSW. This presentation will be an opportunity to learn how one of our neighbours has managed to survive, transform and thrive in the ever changing Landcare space over many decades. Kylie will discuss the Holbrook Landcare model, some of their challenges in operation and how they have transformed over the years to become a leading, sustainable Landcare network.

Kylie has a wealth of knowledge and has worked in natural resource management in the eastern Murray since 2001. She has worked with Holbrook Landcare primarily as an NRM Project Manager, but has also worked as an interim Exec Officer and currently as a Local Landcare Coordinator. She has a wider history working across the Upper Murray, Southwest Slopes area and with Holbrook Landcare in its various iterations for 24 years. Kylie’s passionate about translating science and knowledge and the “big picture” to practical solutions and outcomes on the ground.

6.55 - 7.30 pm - Presentation from Holbrook Landcare

While we are able to cater for vegetarian options at our events it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement due to our limited funding. If you have dietary requirements outside of these two options please bring your own food and drink.
