KCRW Family Day with Skirball Cultural Center
About the Event
Join KCRW for a free, fun interactive day of music with the Skirball Cultural Center! Children and their caregivers are invited to play and learn through music and making. Learn rhythm with Silverlake Conservatory of Music, groove with Logan Hone’s Feel Good Music Train, flow with Dance Church, learn the basics of songwriting with 826LA, make your own bell wand with Rediscover Center, and get creative with the Skirball’s family programming. Plus, sets by KCRW DJ Tana Yonas, explore the Skirball’s galleries, and grab a bite from Judy’s Counter or Zeidler’s Cafe.
Kids lead the way! This event is open to children of all ages with most activities geared towards ages 6-10.

- Is my order confirmation a ticket?
No. This is a free event and tickets are not required for entry. RSVP'ing and receiving an order confirmation does not guarantee admission or seating.

- Are pets allowed?
ADA-certified service animals are welcome; pets are not permitted on the Skirball campus. Please see the Skirball’s visitor policies for more.
- Parking and getting to the event
Parking is available in the Skirball’s North Parking Garage, located underground at the north end of the Skirball's main driveway, approximately 150 yards north of our Main Entrance. Parking is also available in the East Parking Garage, located across Sepulveda Blvd.
Visitors with ADA parking placards may use the South Parking garage, just south of the Main Entrance. There are also a limited number of accessible parking spaces in the North Parking garage, which is closer to some of our event spaces, and in East Parking.
