Throw it back at a free, all-ages KCRW Summer Nights party with the ASU FIDM Museum. It's a '90s-themed celebration in Downtown LA featuring after-hours access to Obsessed: Fashion and Nostalgia in the '90s, immersive gaming experiences, interactive storytelling activations, ‘90s-inspired photo moments, and local food vendors. Plus, leave it all on the dance floor powered by KCRW DJs Olive Kimoto and John Tejada spinning retro sets with a modern edge. Rock your best throwback look, explore fashion history up close, and soak in a night of music, style, creativity, and pure '90s energy.

Obsessed: Fashion and Nostalgia in the ‘90s
ASU FIDM Museum’s “Obsessed: Fashion and Nostalgia in the ‘90s” exhibition looks back at a pivotal moment when analog culture met the dawn of the internet, through the work of designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Anna Sui, Franco Moschino and Gianni Versace, among others. The exhibition highlights how ‘90s fashion continues to inspire today’s creatives, acting as a counterpoint to our digital age.

KCRW DJ Olive Kimoto
Olive Kimoto is a Los Angeles-based radio host, DJ and musician. Her sets move between somatic rhythms and lush, leftfield soundscapes. Beyond KCRW, she performs her solo project under the same name and sings in the trip-hop band Locust. She also hosts Liquid Mirror on NTS Radio.
KCRW DJ John Tejada
John Tejada is a Vienna-born, Los Angeles-based electronic music composer, DJ, and professor at CalArts. Active since 1994, Tejada has released a vast catalog including five albums for the revered label Kompakt, as well as work on Pokerflat, Cocoon, Plug Research, Seventh City, Playhouse, Defected, and his own long-running imprint Palette Recordings. Alongside more than 100 remixes for artists such as Orbital, The Postal Service, Télépopmusik, The Field, Bomb the Bass, Way Out West, Kevin Saunderson, Plaid, Psychic TV, Gui Boratto, and Simian Mobile Disco, Tejada has collaborated with Plaid, Arian Leviste, Justin Maxwell, Baths, Diamond Day, Mason Bee, Nosaj Thing, Reggie Watts (as Wajatta) and others. He is currently involved in Optometry, his duo with March Adstrum.

This venue enforces a strict “no animal” policy. There is a full-time guard who enforces park rules, including the prohibition of dogs.

Food and drink will be available for purchase from food trucks and in the beer garden.
- What items are allowed and prohibited at this event?
No Smoking or Outside Alcohol: Smoking (including vapes) and alcohol are strictly prohibited from being brought into the venue.
Wheeled Transport: Bicycles, skateboards, and similar wheeled devices are not allowed.
