Keeping Backyard Chickens - Workshop

If you've ever considered keeping chickens or already have a flock and want to enhance your knowledge, come along to this workshop! 

The workshop will cover:

· Housing

· Feeding

· Health care

· Safety

Paula has been raising chickens since she was a child growing up in country Tasmania. Her favourite breed is the Chinese Silkie which she raises and shows in colours that include splash, black, white, blue and buff. She also loves the cheeky personalities of the Silver Spangled Hamburghs, the lovely natured Plymouth Rocks and the beautiful coloured eggs of the Araucanas and Marans.

SpringFest will be a fun family day out with some thing for everyone - sustainability workshops, stalls, a clothing swap, clothing and garden tool repairs, live music and refreshments!
