"Keeping Kids Safe 4 Dating Single Mums". A two hour workshop for mums dating to learn about child abuse prevention with topics such as abuse prevention strategies, grooming and red flags awareness, online child safety, safe dating, what/who is a safe adult, having difficult conversations with kids, debunking myths, plus more. Presented in a structured and informative fashion with a balance of statistics and frontline worker knowledge and understanding. Morning tea provided. Plus, a free two hour holiday activity delivered concurrently to the workshop. This will provide an opportunity for the mums to attend whilst their children enjoy a fun, professional holiday program and activity. Morning tea provided BYO water bottle Workshop presenter will be Kristi McVee. Kristi is a Child Abuse Prevention Educator. Her work experience is 10 years in WA Police as a specialist child interviewer and detective who specialised in child abuse investigations. For the past 4 years, Kristi has been working as an online safety and abuse awareness provider, a presenter in schools, presenting to parents and teachers, child care centres and medical organisations. |
