About Renée Schaeffer

Renée Schaeffer was a lifelong New Yorker and a self-taught writer who had always been fascinated by technology and where it may lead us. She channeled this curiosity into crafting her debut novel, Ageless, her life's work and passion project. Renée dedicated herself to bringing Ageless to fruition, a labor of love that spanned the course of a few decades. Renée never gave up on her dream, and finally put the bow on her work just before she passed away in October 2023.

About the Book

Ageless is a genre-bending novel that mixes elements of classic sci-fi with historical fiction, chronicling the journey of Naissa, a woman who lives from 1850 to 2118. Renée poured much of herself into the story: Naissa’s name means “rebirth” and Renée means “reborn.” The novel is a testament to the perseverance of both women, exploring love, loss, and a search for identity. Renée is a beloved grandmother, wife, and friend — and now, an author.
