HANNAH ACFIELD

“A beautiful voice” – Joan Armatrading

Melbourne singer-songwriter Hannah Acfield is an exquisite singer & sophisticated songwriter, delivering emotive songs on electric guitar. Marrying authenticity and musicality with humour, she connects and uplifts the audience from the moment she takes the stage. Acfield delivers soulful, roots music infused with a hint of gospel.

The release of debut solo LP No Light Without Shade, has been Acfield’s blossoming. A sense of freedom, of power and fluidity, define a record dubbed a “masterpiece” (Francesca de Valence) and a “triumph of talent” (Phil Stafford, The Australian); a record with which Acfield moves beyond the folk demesne that defined her early career, and into a new realm that is hers and hers alone, her otherworldly voice and poignant writing heralding the arrival of an Australian singer-songwriter of serious note. Hannah is currently touring her newly released live album "Live at The Aviary".
