What to expect:
Do you compost at home? What about worms? And what’s this thing called Bokashi? In this workshop with Kelmarna's community compost coordinator Ollie, learn the basics of composting at home and more. The workshop will cover types and techniques of composting, Nitrogen to Carbon ratios, and the microbes that make your compost work. Participants will be able to get hands-on with making compost, as well as the chance to look into the microscope to see the invisible world of microbes at work.
Where to find the workshop:
There will be plenty of wayfinding at the Festival on the day. Just make your way to the Kelmarna info stall 5 minutes before the start of the workshop, and your tutor Oliver will be there to meet you.
We look forward to seeing you at the Festival!
