Event description

DISCOVERING BIODYNAMICS
with the Biodynamics Association NZ

Biodynamics offers a holistic approach to growing which can enhance any organic or regenerative growing system. It works with natures rhythms and uses the biodynamic ‘preparations’, 9 soil remedies made from plants and minerals, to create soil fertility and thriving balanced ecosystems.

This workshop will be an introduction to the biodynamic approach. Your tutors from the NZ Biodynamics Association will cover the main principles and practices, and you will learn the simple steps needed to get started with biodynamics in your own gardens and landscapes.

We will end the day with a hands on activity - building a biodynamic Cow Pat Pit for use on the farm.

In the spirit of working together, please bring a plate to contribute to a shared lunch for this workshop.

Tickets include:

  • theoretical and practical introduction the the biodynamic approach

  • access to learning material and additional resources

  • fresh herbal tea provided

Preps to take home will be available to purchase to participants.

At Kelmarna, we strive to make education accessible for everyone. So, where possible, we offer a 35% discount on our workshops to valid Community Services Card holders. If you book one of these tickets, please email us a copy of your valid Community Services Card, and remember to bring it along to theworkshop. Please note that this option does not include Super Gold Card holders.
