SEED SOWING SESSIONS at KELMARNA
with Sarah Lilly Moss-Baker
Saturday 6th August 2.30-5pm (2.5hrs)
Join us at the Farm as we prepare for our spring seedling sale. It's nearly time to start sowing spring and summer veges for long, bountiful harvests. This workshop teaches the basics of at home propagation and successful seed sowing, and you'll get some practice helping sow seeds for our spring seedling sale.
What to expect:
In this workshop with Kelmarna's market garden manager Sarah, learn everything you need to know to get started with at-home propagation! This workshop will cover what to sow when, sourcing seeds and growing medium, sowing techniques, seedling management, taking cuttings, root division, and more. Participants will be given a resource sheet to take home.
Tickets include:
theoretical and practical introduction to seed sowing and propagation basics
access to learning material and additional resources
fresh herbal tea provided
This workshop has a working bee component and uses a pay-what you can model. Please select your desired ticket price and support Kelmarna by learning through doing.
