Kembla Cup flow DH race

Wollongong Mountain Bike Club are proud to present the inaugural Mount Kembla Village Hotel KEMBLA CUP.

In what is set to become an annual race with bragging rights as to who gets their name on the trophy above the bar at MKVH, this is the very first race approved by NPWS at the Kembla Trail Network. We will be racing VORTEX and 4 SEASONS. It will be run in the same fashion as a "super flow" race where competitors will have 2 hours per course to complete as many or few laps as they please with the fastest lap counting towards the final cumulative time. There is no start time for each rider, your race run starts as you pass the start timer. Ride solo, ride as a group, it doesn't matter!

We have a massive prize pool from Mt Kembla Village Hotel, Fox Racing, Bell Helmets, Local Cycle Co, AMX Warrawong and Seeker Brewing with more to come.

For this first ever race, NPWS has capped participants at 50 riders, so get in quick!

Presentation afterwards will be in the beer garden at MKVH with pizza, burger and drink specials for all racers.

Racing will be underway from 8:30 am through to final laps by 1 pm.

This is event is open to ages 12yrs+ with Sub Junior, Junior, Senior, 35+ and Ebike categories for both male and female.

Riders MUST have AusCycling Membership (WMBC or other clubs) covering for race activities OR purchase a Day Licence (Available Here: https://auscycling.org.au/become-a-member/event-licences

No Race Licence, No Ride! Must be shown at registration on the day.
