Kenn. & The Cost of Living is an indie rock band from Melbourne that makes songs about the trials of living in the modern world. Our songs have tongue-in-cheek lyrics and a rye smile. We are releasing our single "8 Million Dollar Homes" at Mamma Chen's in Footscray.
Honestly, we thought the 'cost of living' joke would get a bit old by now, but I guess the world still sucks. But people are awesome, so this one will be full of good people we love. So let's have fun and ride this one out yeah?
Main support:
Blue Sabbath. A bloody Black Sabbath Blues band from I don't know where. Space? Far out, they're good fun. A must-see. There's slide guitar, there's masks, and there are Sabbath riffs. Come on!
Opening support:
The beautiful Gone Westerly are better people than you or me. They give all their money to Food Bank Victoria and just play beautiful folk music. There's a violin, there are homemade instruments, and there's lots of love in what they do.If you've made it this far...
