At Kennedy Baptist College, we value building a safe, healthy community that helps our students excel. Part of this means focusing on our students' well-being and emotional safety. One important way to support this is through Thrive and Kennedy Insights.

For the upcoming Term 4 Kennedy Insights, we’re thrilled to host the inspiring speaker and author Jade Lewis, who will present her insightful seminar, “Under Your Influence.” In this engaging 60-minute session, parents will gain practical tips and evidence-based strategies to support their teenagers during this pivotal time as they tackle various social challenges. Jade’s remarkable book highlights five essential pillars: Connection, Prevention, Early Intervention, Treatment, and Transition, all crucial for nurturing strong parent-teen relationships. As today’s teens navigate complex challenges, they truly need your assistance and guidance more than ever. You don’t have to be an expert to help them resist drugs and alcohol; you just need to be informed and open, and learn where to find the right resources!

We warmly invite all parents to join us for this invaluable seminar and take part in the conversation around enhancing our teenagers' resilience and well-being. Mark your calendars for an engaging evening with Jade Lewis and connect with fellow parents who share the same goal of supporting our youth.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Please note that this event is for adults only.
