Kenyan Top Bar Bee Hive Making Workshop
Event description
In this one day, hands on course, learn how to make your own Kenyan top bar beehive from start to finish.
Together we will construct a hive from start to finish and each participant will take home their own complete kit for self assembly. Additional kits are available upon request, as well as bee colonies to start your beekeeping journey, and further educational support.
The hives are made from ethically sourced eastern red cedar and recycled local native cypress which provide superior insulation properties for your bees and long term durability.
The event will bee hosted by Conscious Ground, an organic and regenerative agriculture farm in Myocum NSW who will provide an incredible paddock to plate lunch experience included in the cost.
