Kew and Hawthorn electorates Treaty and Reconciliation Campaign Launch
Treaty, First Peoples' Rights and Reconciliation Campaign Launch
Join Boroondara Reconciliation Network to launch our campaign in support of Treaty, First Peoples' rights and reconciliation in Kew and Hawthorn ahead of the 28 November state election.
Hear from inspiring First Peoples speakers Uncle Charles Pakana and Uncle Richard Frankland, and an ally with extraordinary credentials, Professor Andrew Gunstone, and find out how you can help turn community goodwill into informed support for Treaty, First Peoples' rights and reconciliation.
Kew and Hawthorn are marginal and critically important districts. With your help and that of our climate allies Lighter Footprints and Kooyong Climate Change Alliance, we'll deliver our Treaty and reconciliation scorecard to nearly 60,000 letterboxes; and we'll staff early-voting centres.
Volunteer jobs suit any amount of time:
letterboxing our Treaty information flyer
bundling scorecards (6 November)
delivering scorecards (7–17 November)
early-voting shifts (from 18 November)
You don't need to live in either district to help. All welcome. Bring a friend!
