Full Day Workshop
This introduction to Key Word Sign workshop includes
- An interactive teaching environment
- Learning a basic vocabulary of signs to use in everyday settings
- How to choose which signs to teach
- Principles of Key Word Sign and Gesture
- How sign helps communication development.

- Anyone in the community.
Each participant in a Victorian Community Key Word Sign workshop receives a copy of the current edition of Getting started with Key Word Sign (Auslan Edition) as part of their registration.
- You will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
- Note: Victorian Teachers can use these hours towards their VIT PD hours.
When: Saturday, March 25, 2023
Where: Spectrum Speech Pathology, Suite 8 - 767 Mount Alexander Road, Moonee Ponds
- Take the lift to the ground floor. The venue is opposite the lift on the ground floor.

Time: 9:30 am - 4 pm
Please arrive by 9:15 am for a 9.30am start
Parking: Free parking available under the building. If coming by public transport, venue is about a 10 minute walk from Essendon or Moonee Ponds
stations.
Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. We will have a 30 minute break for lunch. There are some cafes 5-10 minutes walk away but you may prefer to bring your lunch to save time. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for morning and afternoon tea.
Cost: $350 per person
