This Intermediate Key Word Sign workshop is available as a blended learning package. This involves a self-paced eLearning module, and a practical session presented Face-to-Face
In this intermediate key word sign course, you will build your knowledge of key word sign and gesture in familiar, everyday activities, routines, games and songs. You will learn about how to create a sign environment using strategies and resources to encourage and support the use of sign.
The focus of this course is building your skills in signing accuracy and fluency through individual, small group, and whole group activities. You will revise the signs of the Interactive Vocabulary learned in ‘Getting Started with Key Word Sign’ and learn between 80 -100 news signs.

Suitable for people who have completed a Basic Key Word Sign course, and are using signs regularly in their day-to-day interactions.

- You will receive a Certificate on completion of the Elearning module, and on Attendance.
- Note: Victorian Teachers can use these hours towards their VIT PD hours.

Time: 9.00 am - 3.00 pm
Please arrive by 8:45 am for a 9.00am start
Parking: Plenty of onsite parking available. If coming by public transport, venue is a short walk from the 690 Bus stop, or a 10 min. walk from 737 Bus stop on Dorset Rd.
Lunch: Please bring your own lunch. We will have a 30 minute break for lunch. There are not many cafes nearby, so you may prefer to bring your own food to save time. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided for morning and afternoon tea.
Cost: $350 + GST per person
