Keynote - Burn Out / Stress management at Morris Moor Wellness Week
Description
Morris Moor Wellness Week
Sept 7–10, Morris Moor Precinct
Four days dedicated to resetting mind and body, right in the middle of the working week.
12 pm to 12:45pm Keynote -Speaker - Burn out and Stress management
Most high performers don't have a time problem. They have a capacity problem.
This R U OK? Day, join us at Morris Moor for a keynote on the science of nervous system regulation and what it actually takes to work under pressure without burning out. In this keynote, we take a look under the hood of the human stress response.
You'll learn how your nervous system decides whether a Monday morning inbox is a challenge or a threat, why that decision quietly governs your energy, focus, sleep and mood, and how to expand your window of tolerance so that pressure becomes something you can meet rather than something you absorb. You'll walk away with:
A working understanding of how stress moves through the body, and why "just switching off" doesn't work
Practical regulation techniques you can use at your desk, before a difficult meeting, or at the end of a long day
The difference between recovery that restores you and rest that doesn't
A clear view of the early warning signs of burnout, in yourself and in your people
Language to open the conversation, on R U OK? Day and every other day
Other activities available for you to book.
You will be able to register and save your spot for the following activities across the week.
